Well, how did I do with my resolutions?
1. Read scriptures BEFORE Facebook -- YES! I DID THIS! Every day!! I am doing really well. YAY!!!! I feel great and spiritually edified!
2. Lose 5 lbs -- NOPE. Didn't happen. I'm discouraged because last year in April I was feeling pretty awesome. Every day is a challenge. I hate the moment I wake up in the morning and I say to myself, "it's a new day. I've got to fit in exercise. I've got to eat right today." I feel awesome after I exercise and I feel awesome when I eat right, so WHY IS IT SO HARD? It's hard.
3. Pray -- I didn't do so hot with this one either. I am praying, just not morning AND night.
I had another resolution I forgot to record last month... so here they are for April. And I'll add one more for fun.
1. Read scriptures every day BEFORE Facebook.
2. Finish the current Ensign by the end of the month. (I did this in March! Yay!)
3. Lose 5 lbs by exercising and logging on My Fitness Pal and drinking A LOT OF WATER.
4. Pray morning and night.
5. PLAY with my kids, something, somehow, at least once a day. Make a record of what we've done.
Also, General Conference is this weekend and I've always said I'd use the talks to create goals for the next 6 months, so I'd like to do that, too.
