It's fun having a house. Maybe Shane would differ, and I expect our pocketbook is differing, but there are things I just love.
Our house came with some of these...

There are LOTS of bugs (which are slowly thinning out, thanks to the great lawnmowing skills of Shane, since we feel like since the home was a foreclosure and neglected back there, "Wild America" started to take over), but of course we see other fun things, which are welcome and interesting, like this...
Of course, there is some of this going on...
And obviously someone there to document it all...
Overall, we're having a great time. Once we sat on a blanket and looked at clouds. Once we filled up the inflatable pool and let the water warm in the sun -- perfect! And we now have a grill which Shane happily manages. Our new fave is banana boats -- ahh bless you Pinterest.
Yay for backyards!
